$90+, that's almost $100 and for 8 nights stay, that would be close to $800 just for room. Tough.

Naomi, does it come with breakfast?

hi~ pop~

nope..it doesn't come with breakfast..and i'm sure u would prefer to try taiwan's local breakfast than those usual hotel breakfast..

since u are going alone..u can take up the single room which is cheaper..and they do give a 10-15% discount depending on the season..

OK, help me with my itinerary.

Suppose I got 6 nites there, 7 days total but take away first & last day, got 5 full days.

day1- yang ming shan
day 2 - dan shui
day 3- hua lian & tarako gorge, both together right?
day 4 - ilan (famous for hot spring right?)
day 5 - walk around taipei city

don't intend to go shopping centres, not interested. will visit shilin night market and just walk around some road sides stalls. Scenery my main purpose.

In fact, I would like to stay one night in a mountain/hotspring resort, which is good?

Thks for sharing. Appreciate.

this is a good reference if u planning to stay one night in beitou hot springs resort - http://www.gio.gov.tw/taiwan-website/gogo/goen_33.htm

complete with reviews and contact information!!! you can get to beitou via mrt, very super convenient, u might like to schedule after beitou to visit danshui as its only a few stops away..i visited the Peitou Public Outdoor Pool didnt stay there..

there's a aeroplane restaurant in tanshui, u can get there by mrt, alight one station before tanshui mrt station. very unique place,. u have ur meals in a cabin or if u can pay more, the cockpit of an actual plane, the waiter/waitress wear the actual airline uniform.

a bit pricey and always fully booked but worth the experience
