Hi.
Anyone heard of Keymans Hotel?
http://www.keymans.com.tw/

Can you advise me is Keymans or Wonstar hotel nearer to Taipei Main Station?Or is there any cheap budget(3star) hotel most nearest to Taipei Main Station beside Cosmos & Caser?

Do you have Freego Bus no.? Does they provide service from Airport to our designated Hotel?

I am thinking to arrange for Homestay near SunMoon Lake,do you have any reconmendation or contacts?

I will be visiting Taiwan in 24/6/06.

Await for your reply.Thks

ya.!! should be okay for SQ flight.!! nice air craft compared to CI.. ..
bad experience with the airline...

i was returning to sg in CI flight on vesak day last year....
they offer beef noodles... but passenages mostly old folks.. with dun eat meat on vesak day..

tat was the only food on the menu... quite sad huh..!!! end up.. stewards offering instant mee but was not enough for all... last resort buns have to be served.!!!

so i jus SQ is better compared to CI .!!

good offer.!!
Thats why most Vegetarians request Veg Meals when the make their reservation. Or No Beef, No Pork e.t.c. If you do that, you wont have any problems with your meals.

Depending on which tour you want to take, the agency in charge is listed : All big companies so I think Credit card should be okay.

Tour Bus Agent List
You should be able to book from Royal Castle. At least a day before booking is best. If youare at the Taipei Station,Easy Travel has a big counter opp the tourist counter.

Most people go to Danshui in the afternoon and evening However It is also like the city there where most places open after 10/30. Just take the MRT to the End of the Red Line (Danshui Line) Return the same way to Ximenting. Travel time can be 40 mins.
Thanks for your reply.

I intend to go to JiuFen. As this is my first time going to Taipei. Do you think it is easy for me to travel on my own? Or it will be more convenient to book a local day tour?

Hi,

Many of the forumers here ,first timers toTaipei did it on their own.

It really is very easy and the Bus.Train e.t.c. costs all in NTD200 or so, The Amount of money you save, Get extra Tai Yang Bing, eat more mochi, and have some good tea in a good tea house in Jioufen

From Taipei Main Station take a train to Rueifang. Walk outside . There is the Bus stop for Joiufen. Thats all there is to it.

Return the same way or take a bus from Joiufen and visit Keelung for a bit, then return to Taipei main Station by taking the train in Keelung.

If you missed the Races this weekend you still have another chance to see the Inaugral Dragon Boat Marathon Race on the 31st of May .

And on Wednesday, a new marathon race will be held that will severely test contestants' physical strength and endurance. Dragon boat races are usually just 500m, but this new marathon item will be 6km and will take racers around 50 minutes to complete. For those who don't want to miss this first edition of the marathon competition, the race will start at the Dachia section of the river around 1pm and finish around 2pm at the Zhoumei Wharf (洲 美 碼 頭 )
In the competition, broadly divided into competitive and social, the Men's Open is the most competitive, with many semi-professional teams from Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Africa and Philippines, as well as local top seeded local competitors and teams of foreign residents.

And also, how can I travel from Royal Castle to Damshui? If I were to travel in the morning, can I go to Xi Men Ding by afternoon. Do we need to spend the whole day in Damshui?
Thanks
I think Royal Castle is near to Xi Men MRT station so take the MRT to Danshui MRT station and Dan Shui Lao Jie is 3 mins walk. Actually you shld go to Shi Lin cos it's along the same MRT station line, you alight at Jian Tan MRT station and Shi Lin night market is there.

For Danshui, you need just one afternoon there and then can go to Shilin so maybe morning can go somewhere lese.
