you know something natty??

my gf told me she had "checked" and there's only one train which i found funny.but din was at work so din wanna argue with her so she went ahead and change the return air ticket date to a day later!!then she told me err actually there's many other trains

to be honest i dunno if she did it on purpose,women...when it comes to shopping, they can be real heartless and ruthless
You can go shopping for XMM too. They very cute there.

My planned itinerary.. Thanks to all the posts in this forum...
Advices will be most welcomed..
Just some doubts on these days:

Day2 25th July, Tue
Long Shan temple (MRT to Long Shan)
CKS memorial hall (MRT to CKS memorial hall)
Lunch at Ding Tai Fung (MRT to Guting) => Which branch you going to? if it's the Main branch, ideal station to exit is Zhongxiao Xin Sheng
Ice monster desert (Exit, turn left into alley)
Taipei main station shopping (Buy tickets for HuaLien train NT445 per trip)
Ximenting

Day6 29th July, Sat
Ximending
Danshui (MRT To Dan Shui)
Yu Ren Ma Tou (Ferry from Danshui 40NT per trip)
Miramar Ferris wheel (MRT to Jian Tan Bus 167/ MRT to Yuangshan. Exit #1 cross road diagonally to Soccer Stadium bus stop. Take 21, Red 2 both very frequent. or 247, 287
To get to Miramar, get off at Jiantan Station and there's a free shuttle bus to take you there. Exit from the station and the busstop on the right side.

Personally, I feel it's best to leave weekdays for sightseeing trips while weekends for night markets/ shopping etc. Hope it helps.

Looks like Taiwan will be affected by Triopical storm Billis from the 12th to the 14th of this month. it could still gain strength and turn into a typhoon.

main branch︰信義路二段194號 (886) 2721 1890

I alighted at zhongxiao xinsheng road la then walk ard 15 mins after asking help for directions from the control station and along the way.

the shuttle bus to Miramar is fast, no worry. If i remember correctly it comes every 15min.

Taipei is pretty safe for the single woman traveller.Take same precautions as in Singapore. Avoid dark streets and alleys .
