aren't u going for 5D4N? why there are 6days in ur itinerary?

anyway, diff ppl have diff taste. I think u should let ppl know what u prefer, eg, u wanna see all the famous attractions, or u like people watching etc. easier for others to suggest.

Thank man!!. Does snyone here going taipei using only backpack(bag type not the an mo use one) instend of those luggage type?. For me i wanted to bring only backpack and one hand carry foldable bag, but i afraid i not able put everything into the bag + the thing i purchase. I will be going 5D4N next week not much time left. Any suggestion thank!!!
if you ain't buying lotsa souvenirs or foodstuffs, I think a BIG backpack is good enough for a 5d4n trip.

Enjoy!

below detail plan for 5D4N...
My comments as below in Red-

Btw, where is your hotel near to? XMD area?

Day 1
I think if you are going to XMD and Huaxi, then u may juz concentrate shopping at that area.

Day2
Yes if you are fast, prob u will have time to go back XMD again.

Day3
Danshui+fishermen wharf takes up half day.

I think You should do more research in this thread, search for some sample iteneraries 6d5n, 5d4n etc. And try to re do ur planning again

I think it's possible to visit Kaoshiung in Oct, as the superspeed trains would be in operation then. Heard from my Taiwan fren that they are opening the stations by Aug. So Taipei to Kaoshiung would probably take only an hour +. But I dunno the prices though. The trains are operated by the company that runs Shinkansen in Japan. Should be quite ex.
Hello guys, as this personal Jordan mention that there is so call superspeed train will be operating in Aug is that true?????

Anyone knows where can take overnight coach to Kaoshiung from Taipei ?
