Dear all, if i am travellgin in a Grp of 4, would it be worthwhile to take a cab from Airport to my hotel in XMD, as compared to taking the airport buses?

roughly how much would that costs?

It was working a few days ago.. Maybe you want to wait till their server comes up. Or you can consider other hotels in the area. I am going to stay at Tashu this time.
it is still working...not for singnet users

If i'm not wrong, cab from airport to taipei cost you about NT$2000 per ride. Anyone took one recently pls update the latest price.
Bus ride is NT$135 per person.

Both travelling time is pretty similar if place of accomdation is near bus stop.

You can request Freego to drop at XMD straight, just let them know when you buy the tickets. They will drop at the designated hotels (Tashun Hotel, Rainbow Hotel & Wonstar Hotel) in XMD.
Oh.. that'll be great. Thx a lot

I used asiarooms for booking Thailand hotels. So far, been quite good. For Taiwan Hotels, I would suggest going to the hotel's own website or those ones like easytravel.com.tw

My experience for hotels is that only go for those online sites if its a very developed country for big hotels. Then the price is similar.

For less developed places even for taiwan, directly contacting the hotel / hotel site can still be cheaper.

Call them by phone and book directly, it is faster and better, no comission for any agent.
Rainbow - http://www.ncznhotel.com.tw/rainbow/intro/all.htm

Cab fare from TTIA to Taipei is NTD1200/-
