Hi, Send me your email address, by pm as post is too long.
You can go to all the above places by Bus, Train/ Bus combination e.t.c. I dont presume that you will not be going back to Ximenting everytime to start going to different destinations?? So If you have a route, then is is easier to advise.

Mostly book from Singapore by calling the Hotels directly.

Hmm.. . transport to get town and to many place ba. . .
see if can book for whole day wan
For Taipei City, the MRT/Bus combination will get you everywhere you want to go without hassle. If you rent or hire a car, then the parking will kill you

hi guys..

I'm currently in Taiwan now.. KeeLung to be exact. Been travelling from KaoHsiung upwards, going to hit Taipei tomorrow.

Now is the long holiday period, after 9 0ct was declared to be public holiday. So 6-10 Oct is holiday, alot of people are going back to hometown for reunion. Alot of hotels are full also, due to the holiday season, so do check if you hit their holiday before you come.

Weatherwise, it's not too hot or cold, about 22-30. Dont need a jacket in the night also, unless you are going places like Alishan. It's about 12 degree in the day and 9 at night, and 5 if you are going to watch the sunrise.

Yup. The hotel in Kaohsiung was quite good, I must say. (Kindness Hotel) It was 1400NT and newly renovated. Also walking distance to their LiuHe Night Market, quite near to Train Station too.

Will post more when I get back.
