u gave the impression that u only go mei shiuan when all other choices ran out. which could mean it cannot make it.
Ok lah, it's clean so I've no complaints about it. Another thing I like about it is, it's pretty near to the Main Station.

Erm... I find my room (supposed to be a double) too small to share comfortably...

But my next trip, it'll definitely be Rainbow or TS, or any 5-star hotels if someone else's paying for it.

MRT: to Kunyang station. Then take taxi to Zhong Shi TV Station. Or can take Blue 22 bus over to China TV. NT15 only! Cross over road of the MRT station to take.

Do try to check beforehand, if the bus company you engage has a service to your hotel or at least nearby.

We chose Freego and they just brought us to 'the nearest point' and we walked a long long way. The driver only asked us to go take a cab, when the lady at the counter could've told us to go to one of their neighbouring counters/companies instead. Do your own homework.

Anyway, just got my handphone bill. Each SMS from Taipei costs S$0.28 regardless of the service provider used over there. I've 4 service providers in my bill, cos I couldn't be bothered to chose, just used whichever appeared on my phone.

HK was S$0.70 each...

Are you referring to the Guanghua Market?
- Take the Bannan MRT line (Blue line) to Zhongxiao-Xinsheng Station. From there, its a 5 min walk to Guanghua Market.
- There is also another Bade Rd Market, abt 2mins walk, near the same MRT station.
