It depends on your personal level of tolerance for cooling weather. My friends went round just with their t-shirts while they saw Taiwanese all wearing windbreakers/jackets in the streets.

I'd personally just pack a double-layered windbreaker.
Guess i bring windbreaker and sweater. if it's too cold, I won't go up YMS. Too troublesome to bring winter jacket just for that purpose.

btw, what is the distance between Shifen waterfall and Shifen station? Will it be a very long walk?

Hi, I would like to buy concert tickets from this website :
http://www.ticket.com.tw/

Have any1 bought tix from above site before ? It seem like not able to pay for tickets, then collect later. They only give the option to mail the tickets....but not too sure if they do so for oversea addresses.

Thanks in advanced.

maybe 8am??

ermm not sure how to go from ur hotel.. some somewhere at jiantan station and bus transfer should able to bring u to marty shrine... and the subway can bring u to CKS with some walking..

bit sure the changing of guards starts,,, but for marty shrine is a hourly event..(if i can remember correctly)

but to compare .. both should be roughly similar performance... i guess..

u need someone with higher knowledge to advice on the first performance starts...

How to go to ALishan?

Can I go to Alishan straight from the CKS airport? Ie to take a bus to the Taipei railway station and then proceed to take a train to hualian and change to a train route that take me up to Alishan directly. And for the accomdation there, can I easily find a hotel to stay overnight? Thanks.
