For shifen:-

correct me if i'm wrong, but from memory :-

Take train from taipei -> Rueifang. Take train from Rueifang -> Shifen.

Thanks... I guess I just wear more layers and bring along a jacket and a wind breaker.

Cos heard my peers mentioning about the 'Han Liu' ... and got paranoid... typical Singaporeans lah.. lol

Long john will be extremely uncomfortable. usually i only use long john if temp < 0 degree. If u're only in taipei, winter there is quite ok. If no cold front, i normally survive in long sleeve & jeans only. Coz mostly indoor, so quite ok. if cold front, add additional jacket.

temperature can be from 5 - 20 degree
hm.. is long john very uncomfortable? cos it looks like just a cotton suit tat u wear inside.. does it stick to the skin?

Its suppose to be tight, like leotard.
I prefer to wear more layers that can be taken off cause you may go indoors with heating, than cannot strip..die man..

Anybody knows if Mt Hehuan starts to snow on mid December yet ?
Might go up there to see snow with my family

yu shan now snowing liao if i'm not wrong hehuan shan gotta depend on your luck, i know last year it snowed ard dec

think the person who replied just gave a rough estimation on the xchange rate ba...

if I want to travel from taipei to the taroko gorge...

which mountain would be more convenient to visit along the way???
