Not sure whether it is true, but this is what one of my friends heard...

There isn't much money changer in Taipei and even thou there is, they do not accept SGD? Is it true?

Because I was planning to change a little in Singapore and change currency there...

Thanks fireworks79 for your extensive contributions to what to see and do in Taiwan!

I'm plannning to visit Taiwan in March/April 07 for around 6-7 days. However, my gf and I are intending to bring my future in-laws along for the trip.

Just wondering if it would be a good idea then to do Free & Easy or should I just stick to a package tour? Usually if it's just me and my gf, F & E will definitely be our choice but with 2 elderly persons tagging along, I was thinking of going with a packaged tour.

Do you think you can help with planning an itinerary that is more senior citizen friendly? Any suggestions welcome...thanks!

Atelier, Welcome.

In my opinion, if you have older people with you, then F&E is also very good. In a package tour, you are rushed around frequently starting very early in the morning.

Hi to all. I'll be going to Taipei soon & am looking forward to have a go at the SPAs in Wulai.

My hotel is near the MRT station, so via the MRT (or buses) how do i get to Wulai?

& how much would it likely cost for spa there?

Tks
