Am planning to go Taipei in mid Jan for about 7 days and am planning for the itinerary. Went through this thread and got quite a few useful guides for travelling around. However, did not have the time to really look into each page carefully.

Therefore, would like to seek some help here on the following :

1. How do i get to 渔人码头 from 淡水?How long does it take to travel between these 2 places?

2. What is the best time to go to 渔人码头?

3. What are some of the other places that I can go from 淡水?

Kindly help advice the abovementioned.

Thanks

need to goto keelong terminal to take another bus to jiu fen..
frankly speaking nt worth the effort.its too time consuming
to get to yeliu you need to walk quite a distance in too to view the rock formation.. 20-30 mins walk i guess.

(38I recently went on a business trip and booked three nights at The Beautiful Grand Hotel in Taipei. I have to say though that beautiful is all this hotel is. Either that or me and a colleague of mine were unlucky. The rooms we had which was in seperate buildings were terribly humid, even with the aircon running at max. The plumbing is really bad and the rooms are worn down.
My advice to travellers thinking about going there to stay is: don't waste your money. Chose one of the new hotels and just go and see the Grand Hotel as take your photos. Don't live there it's not worth all the money you pay.

u can skip raohe, nothin there unless u wanna watch pple skin snake and play with king cobra
That's Huashi St NOT Raohe. Raohe is great for food and some shopping.

Spending 7 days just in Taipei city will be boring.
