Ya, Danshui (freshwater) is a must-go! YMS will be pretty cold, so something thicker than a mere windbreaker will be good.

Hi,
We dont use heaters here at all, and no gloves.

Like I wear a Tshirt then a vest style sweater then my shirt and then the jacket. I find the sweater being a second layer keeps me warmer.

A lovely cool and dry day it was today, those out must have enjoyed themselves a lot.

So cold?4 layers. Only during this cold mass period right? Anyway, how thick is the jacket? Those thick thick ones that can wear for 0-10 degrees celcius? i was looking at their weather forecast and the temp would return to 15-over 20 degrees celcius. Hopefully no rain~~

One of its branches can be found inside SHILIN Night Mkt. Right next to it is another stall selling sticky rice n also a kind of starchy crab soup. Very delicious n popular wif the locals. Tried both n like both!

Visited Dan Shui n Miramar Ferris Wheel yesterday.

Going to visit the Hsin Beitou Hot Springs today as well as Yang Ming Shan.

Weather's expected to be good with temp's between 14 to 18 deg.

Jacket is Denim with a lining not bulky. Correct, when not so cold , I remove the vest sweater. Every night the temp will drop, so always be prepared or you will catch cold. Important is keeping your chest warm.

For your hands rub a bit of vaseline (100% petroleum jelly),also on your elbows and heels if it gets too dry.
