just come back from Taiwan... hehehe... quite a nice trip... the only sad thing is that didn't plan 1 more day to attend the countdown party... though xmas should have some celebration but nothing happening there...

the best place is jiufen and taroko... generally easy for ppl to do FNE...

I want to take the Scenic train from Chiayi to Alishan on my coming trip next week.

How do I go about purchasing the tickets cos I read that tickets get sold out quite quickly.

Just back from Taiwan last night. It was a really good experience, the locals are extremely friendly and helpful.
Will post some of the pics, once I figure out where I can host them.

yea... just got back from taiwan last nite too... hehe will put up my itenrary with pics soon... hmm got an extra experience of walking down the plane instead of using the normal taxi way.... hehe

u can purchase at chaiyi station or purchase at beimen station

i m also in that filght SQ 875.... but the landing was lousy, haha
me didnt go to countdown party , me & bf went to shilin for last min shopping, so so crowded. ...the metro was jammed right to the underpass , end up taking cab to hotel...S$12!!

overall not a bad trip, : )

Is it? I was the only one walking ard with short sleeves and vest, everyone else was sporting winter wear.......

I tot it was snowing the way some pple are dressed. Roughly 13-15 deg at night if I din remember wrong. But kinda interesting, u wun see the display of winterwear they put up there in SG ever........

ya... i must say those who go last week are really lucky... in the day time, almost no rain or onli light rain...

weather wise is quite cooling except last thurs is abit cold...

tat time I went during 15-12 the 2nd and 3rd day was quite chilly....at 11-13 degree.....
