You did not mention if it is Large or very heavy items. Here some courier companies have excellent rates.

Guanghua Computer market:
(The Best Place to shop for electronics in Taipei)
(Location: MRT Stop Zhongxiao Xinsheng > Exit 4 > Turn right, walk to second junction , turn left , walk 2 mins to location.) Blk 1 & 2 for VCD/DVD Manga, Comics and books
Is the above address the old one or new?

Guess what? There is also a website for it, just like HWZ for SLS!

Thanks all, just a feel, somehow i think this thread has grown toooooo long to be useful and beneficial? I think some of qestions (including mine) has been asked before, but searching for them in this thread seems to be a nightmare for many.. Just a feeling.

Here is a tips. When you do a search, select display by Post instead of Thread. It is much easier to get to the right info

Guanghua is the equivalent of SLS in Taiwan, but SLS probably won't be the place you would want to buy VCDs/DVDs from right?

Most of the time for drama VCDs/DVDs, you will go to places like Poh Kim or TS or Bluemax (branches dealing specifically with drama)?

Just wondering whether it is a good idea to buy drama VCDs/DVDs from Guanghua... and whether there are specific shops dealing with drama VCDs/DVDs in Taiwan...

Taiwan Winter 2006/7
Taiwan sees 2nd warmest winter of last 30 years: CWB

It's like 28C now. BUT on Monday it is supposed to go down to 11C up North. Wonderful and complicated Taiwan Weather.

That's bad news. Last year I already felt warm there in April. This year I purposely plan to enjoy the cool weather in March. Hope not to be disappointed.

For those going to TPE recently, pls make CKS Memorial Hall one of ur tourist stop. The Taiwan Government has plans not just to change the name, but also tearing down the iconic walls and gate at the Memorial Hall. I feel politics is spoiling the beautiful place.

Been to the Memorial Hall during my trip to TPE last year. Although planned to stay there for just 30 min, I ended up staying there for 2 hours. Seldom you can see a big space for a park, where u can see locals and tourist enjoying the view and facilities there.

Heopfully, the Taipei County Government can do something to stop Ah Bian from doing stupid things. Now even the MRT linking to the Memorial Hall has to change name too! (the MRT station is called CKS Memorial Hall Station!)

Most Taiwanese are happy with this decision. As long as the KMT stays on the Unification trail ,and are not Pro ROC - Taiwan, the Taiwanese will keep on doing this. What next: SYS mem Hall, Martyr's shrine. There is no way that the ROC can recover the Mainland , and 84% of the population do not relate to the Mainland as their Motherland (Just land of their ancestors) not their home, Taiwan is their home. If the KMT does not get with the Taiwanese program they will lose again in 2008.
