DAY ONE (NIGHT) - Arrive at CKS at 1825 - [Tue]
- ShihLin Night Market - by the time u reach shilin abt 8pm
- Eslite Bookshop
- XMD -- shops close at 10+, u might wan to skip Eslite bookshop


DAY TWO - [Wed] - edited (very packed day)
- Wulai - is outskirt of taipei , total journey roughly 1hr ++
- Beitou - hotspring only (i spend abt 2hrs+ there)
- Danshui - can go ard late afternoon 4 or 5pm, you may wan to go fisherman wharf for lover's bridge lightup (7pm) & sunset (check with the locals)
- EZ5 - no idea
- XMD - ok


DAY THREE - [Thu] (very packed day)
- Yehliu
- Keelung
- Jinguashin
- Jiufen
above journey by train & change to buses. (only went to Jiufen)
- Miramar - enough time?? u can take a free shuttle bus at (jiantan) shilin night mkt mrt station.
- MiaKow Night Market (location?) - no idea

DAY FOUR - [Fri] - seems ok
- Taipei main stn area
- Xinyi area
- Wufenpu
- Raohe night market

DAY FIVE - Depart CKS at 1740 - [Sat]
- Tian Mu (quite quiet when i was there, there is a factory outlet sellling cheap branded clothings)
- Wanhua area (longshan temple there?, actually nothing much to see, only the night mkt, but also lousy one, haha)
and any other places not gone/done...

actually sat u can go XMD, daytime XMD, sat more "happening", if u lucky can see some artistes. I saw twice (photoshooting & recording of variety program) but duno their names..ahha

ZhongXiao East rd area?

I actually missed out YMS for Day 2... but it seems like it is packed as it is and YMS needs quite a bit of traveling time.

- Jinguashih via Keelung-Keelung Bus (From Convenience Store opp where you get off at Yeliou)
- Jiufen-Keelung bus
-Keelung - MiaKow Night Market (location?) - Keelung. after you get off bus, walk back across the River Bridge cross the Road -Walk pass Macdonalds to the First Traffic junction
- Miramar - Take Capital Star Bus (Blue Color) Directly to Miramar, Last Bus about 10pm. NTD42

DAY FOUR - [Fri] - seems ok
- Taipei main stn area
- Xinyi area
- Wufenpu
- Raohe night market

DAY FIVE - Depart CKS at 1740 - [Sat]

- Wanhua area (longshan temple there?, actually nothing much to see, only the night mkt, but also lousy one, haha)Actually there is a Day Wholesale market starts after 10.30am (Behind Longshan Temple MRT Stop)

Alternative: Do YMS Early in the morning and return at noon-take bus 260 from Ximen MRT Bus Stop on Zhonghua Rd.

Have good Lunch-Hong Sao Niu Ro Mien (NTD140) at #15 Taoyuan St-Ximen Exit 4- walk into Hengyang Road, 2nd junction, turn right, last shop on your left, you can see them preparing the noodles outside.

XMD
Bus should leave at about 2.30pm for Airport.

hi questions abt hotels again, email to ta shun and they quote me $2780 for quad room. Can i ask how much does handsome hotel and neijiang cost for a quad room? Thanks in advance

Hi,
I think someone posted that the TS Quad is not really a Quad and a bit cramped. The Neijiang is slightly cheaper about NTD2480 or so. East Dragon is NTD3000. These are proper Quad rooms.

Hi, have anyone actually have the habit of buy travel insurance whenever going overseas? At least if your thing are being misplaced/ stolen or robbed, you still can 'get it back' via T.insurance. Even flight delay (I think at least 2 hrs) oso can claim.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not selling, just trying to offer another option.

will touch down in taipei on 5 may be there for 1 week..

Hey pple new member here have been reading the previous threads..haha exhaustive amt but really very useful...just wanted 2 consolidate opinions regarding my "schedule" for 5D4N cos confirmed going TW in coming april...will be staying at wonstar hotel...oso abit concerned abt the weather?

Day one
-Reach airport at nite (by jetstar)
-check in to hotel
-get to jiantan stn (shilin nite market)
-partyworld ktv

Day 2
-bus 260 at ximen stn stop 2 yms
-bus 108 4 internal travel (isit like one straight bus travelling loopwise thru-out yms or maybe like sentosa gt certain stops 2 walk arnd etc? will 2 hr 30 min be sufficient? Dun intend to trek much just maybe browse sig spots den take pic)
-bus 230 directly to Beitou
- asia pacific/spring resort shuttle bus to pao~~ (oso wanna noe on average how long u all can stay in the pools...cos abit unsure regarding how much time 2 spend time...all 1st timers 4 wen quan here)
-shuttle bus back to beitou stn
-beitou hot spring museum (maybe aboriginal cultural museum? see if gt time and dunno whether both will be interesting if nt maybe skip?)
-head for danshui head for yurenmatou by bus red 26
-after watching sunset head back 2 danshui lao jie walk arnd laze arnd
-Eslite bkshop at zhongxiao dunhua(or is there anywhere nearer to xmd? nt sure whether there will be time after danshui 4 this thou...but dun mind staying till quite late since its 24hr)

day 3
-cks memorial hall in the morn (cks memorial hall stn...wanna noe how long will it take 2 walk 2 cks...isit very ez 2 spot?)
-maybe 11+ take mtr to houshanpi stn 4 wufenpu (very unsure abt opening hrs of wufenpu during wkdae??)
-raohe nite market 4 dinner walk arnd abit oso
-tp city hall (wanna walk xin guang san yue...warner village...nyny den to 101)
- go back 2 xmd internet cafe (nt sure where thou just wanna exp abit)

day 4
-jiufen (any clear instructions on how 2 get there? cos nt very sure like how 2 just go jiufen since alot of threads include yehliu & keelung...actually intend to go yehliu and keelung oso but only gt half a dae 2 spare no way 2 finish so wanna squeeze in as much as possible)
-tianmu ps bubu (wanna eat there definitely dunno whether we high budget enuff 2 shop arnd there since sum members mention stuff like ralph lauren etc?)
-miramar 2 take ferris wheel
-dunno if gt time 4 shilin
*can members pls gimme more advice regarding this dae..cos really very unsure of where we can cover along the jiufen keelung area maybe till 3 pm since we intend 2 get to tianmu and take ferris wheel....or isit really outta the way...(confused)?*

day 5
-maybe just shop arnd zhongxiao dun hua area considering go jacky wu dessert shop & shop abit arnd tp stn underground mall b4 leaving mid afternoon 2 get to airport 4 jetstar return flight

just wondering if my schedule can work out...or isit 2 rushed 2 be done...? will really appreciate if sum advice can be given cos first time in tp really wanna fully utilise the time there...thx alot~~~

Thanks Nutty, How abt Rainbow as compared to neijiang? As i know Rainbow has a great location. 2 mins walk to mrt.

Adidas in Taipei?? You should check out the Outlet shops . Ask around. If I see any adverts over the nexe couple of days, I'll post it.

how long does shilin night market stay open until?

if i have to reach the airport before i take off at 740 in the morning at cks airport, whats the best option for me to get there from TS hotel and how much time do i require to get there?
