Yes, Shi Lin is walking distance from JianTan Station.

Looking @ the MRT route. Would you consider Tan Shui -> BeiTou -> Miramar Wheel -> Shi Lin? Hmmm also it is a bit strange to 'Pao Dang' in the hot afternoon so it may be a better idea to do the hotspring after your trip to Yu Ren. The flow also looks more logical.

It's just a suggestion.

BTW, The National Palace Museum is not in your itinerary right? But then you are already so close to it.
Thanks, I get what u meant. Are there any buses from YMS to Dan Shui?

The reason I put Dan Shui in the evening is so that I can get to see the sunset. But will change the itinerary accordingly if I plan to skip Fishermen Wharf.

will be travelling to TW frm May 12-16

Been reading lots of info on miramar. But which MRT station to alight to reach there?

The main Miramar website did not state the nearest MRT station.

thanks

There is a ticket for bus 108 rides for all stops, just need to pay 1 time NT80. But the bus drivers say better to just pay NT15 for each ride.
in your opinion, what are the "MUST" stops in YMS?

does NT15 per stop justify?

No, to go to Wulai, you need to go to Xindian first before switching to a bus.

For YMS Take bus 260 from outside the Exit3 Ximen MRT Bus stop direct.

You can take bus 230 or 219 to Beitou from YMS. At Beitou go via MRT to Danshui

1. YMS bus 108 : 1 fare & I can alight & board @ every stop or must I pay a fare everytime I board? How much for an adult?

2. Any private hotspring to recommend? Price? Going with wife...
according to damienloh, I intend to pay NT80 for the whole bus 108 ride as I've set aside 1 whole day (till dinner) @ YMS

as for question 2, can somebody give some inputs?

Thanks

It depends on what is the purpose you go to YMS.

I go to YMS for its floral & green. So last year I went to 竹子湖 directly in heavy rain. This year, I walked from YMS bus terminal to the flower clock, then took a mini bus to 竹子湖. So I paid only NT15. If at the day the weather is bad, you may half way decided to leave YMS, that's why the bus driver say not worth to buy the NT80 ticket.

Since you have a longer time at YMS, you may want to go hiking.
