Does anyone knows how to book a minicoach for airport transfer from CKS airport to Rainbow hotel? As we are travelling in a group of 7, we are looking to find cheaper alternatives than NT$1800 for two cabs.

if u look at their rooms rate page, there is the normal price for the rooms in small print just beside the discounted price...

Exclamation Security Restrictions

Hey all,

Since all of us are traveling, at one point of time or another, to Taipei, thought it would be useful to post this up for your information. Gotten this off Changi Airport's webby.

c. Canada, European Union1 Member States, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Maldives, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Switzerland ,Taiwan or Vietnam

The restrictions apply to flights departing from the above mentioned destinations.

Passengers are only allowed to carry liquids, gels and/or aerosols in containers of 100 ml (3.4 ounce) or less in their hand-carry luggage. These containers must be packed in one transparent, re-sealable plastic bag of not more than 1 litre (quart-size) in capacity. Passengers should check-in liquids, gels and/or aerosols beyond the quantity allowed.

You guys can try:
名邑旅店. Miyi Hotel.
汉口街一段四号。
Tel: (02) 2371-3151
Email: miyiinn@ms77.hinet.net

It's very near Flower Hotel (i.e. close to Taipei Main Station).
Weekday rate was NT1880 with breakfast. A small hotel but descent & clean.

I try to write my trip story this weekend. Very busy since back.

Future Star Hotel seems to be a good alternative. I called to make reservaton for 2 rooms today. We would be there from 6 May to 11 May 2007.
