Jetstar is the cheapest liao... $199 is without tax? My taipei tix, with tax, was $404, for Jetstar...

Dear all, im most probably going on a 'shopping' tour and a lil sight seeing., but im too sure about the relative vicinity of the different places. So im having abit of difficulties in planning my intinerary. Hope bros who are familiar can help.. Below are the places i hope to visit. Im staying at TS hotel.

1) XMD
2) Shilin
3) Wu Fen Pu
4) Raohe Night Market -> Anything interesting? Else i will skip it.
4) Mirammar -> what do they have there? The website doesnt seem to say alot.
5) Taipei 101
6) Ding Tai Feng
7) Yu Ren Ma Tou -> Heard the evening scenary is good
8) Guanghua electronics

Anywhere that you think i should visit? Im only there for 4D3N..

Thanks all..
1) XMD is a must visit. You can pair it with Long Shan Temple and Hua Xi Night Market. 2 MRT stops away.

2) See Mirammar note

3) I suggest you to visit 101 tower in the afternoon then go Wu Fen Pu after that. They are pretty near to each other. IIRC, Rao He Night market should be nearby too. So maybe you can go like this: 101 -> Wu Fen Pu -> Rao He Night Market (pretty small & nothing much to see though)

4) Mirammar is a typical Shopping Mall famous for their Ferris Wheel. Its actually perched at the 5th/6th level of the shopping mall. So you will probably reach about 20/30+ storeys high at the top of the wheel. Pls go in the day if you wanna take the ferris wheel (I went at night, can't see much except lighted up 101 tower, but the ferris wheel looks quite good when lighted up at night) There's a free shuttle bus from Jian Tan MRT Station (IIRC) to and fro.

Apart from the Ferris Wheel, there's a huge cinema there.
You can also see our famous BREADTALK shop around that area.

IMHO, I feel that it's not worth the effort to go there though, unless you really want to try the ferris wheel. The shopping mall is just like our regular Taka with less crowd.

If you really want to visit Mirammar, I'd suggest that you go Mirammar then Shilin on the same evening. Free shuttle bus from Jian Tan MRT station to mirammar and back, then you can walk to Shilin from that MRT station (just across the road)

7) Yu Ren Ma Tou's evening view is nice. The sunset is a sight to behold (pray hard for clear weather). However, the famous Ai Qing Qiao (bridge) is way over-rated. It looks not bad when lighted up at night, but I would say it looks just like the SAFTI bridge at Boon Lay. Nothing much to shop/eat there. Just go for the sunset will do.

My own recommendation:
If you are really into sight seeing, feeling brave and have a day to spare, go visit Yang Ming Shan.
Any of the 11 sight-seeing spots on YMS is worth the effort to travel there. (Take 1.5hr bus ride from XMD)

$188 is not cheap at all, the lowest I saw is $178, but even at this price, also cannot meet $404 for return trip....

Hey all...just wanted to clarify some qns since i'll be going 2 tw this sun...

- What are the must see hotspots in YMS since we'll be going there but do nt wanna spend 2 much time visiting all the places of attraction cos afraid sum maybe rather boring...

- How 2 get 2 FOS & PS BuBu from Shipai MTR?

- Isit more advisable to go DingTaiFeng Main or side branch & exactly how 2 get 2 each outlet (e.g MTR station and directions)...& roughly how long will we have 2 wait 2 get in if its lunch hour on a weekdae...

- When is Miaokow actually open cos been getting quite confused hearing sum sae its 24hrs but others saying tt its advisable to go just at nite 4 seafood?

- How to actually get from Keelung back to TP Main Stn...is there any specific railway train (cost & duration of trip)?

- Understand tt there's a bus going frm TP City Hall to TP 101...but isit a free shuttle bus or a specific bus no (cost?)

Sorry that I have alot of qns...wld appreciate if anyone here cld answer my queries..thx in advance!!
