Cloudiax if you dont mind those low end 3 stars, theres a Guo Guang hotel at XMD. quite cheap also. its like 3mins walk to the MRT. my bro RNR stayed there, he say very convenient. only thing is that the breakfast not nice to eat, but u can always walk out to get some food instead
but im not sure u can find booking online or not.

cameltoe4,

Both Neijiang & Futurestar hotels does look very promising. I will get in contact with them ASAP. All the payment via Credit Card?

NightWish_,

Any website where I can review on Guo Guang hotel? I don't really need the breakfast. Just need a comfortable hotel to stay for 4 nights in Taipei.

cloudiax,

you just need to do a confirmation for your reservation with the hotel initially. you can pay upon checking in, either by cash or credit card. call them one or two days before departure to confirm your room again.

on a side note, jetstar having a promo now, half price if booking 2 tickets. book before july 22 and fly between 1 sep and 31 oct. some dates still can get $79 seats. sigh, i booked mine already (no promo) and it costs me double!

anyway, i would like to find out more about the weather in taipei during sept. heard it's the monsoon season. is that anything that i should expect and be prepared for during that time?? also, would it be recommended to go hualian in sept for 2 nights if it is the monsoon season?

sorry if i've asked any noob questions ah.. this will be my first trip to taiwan together with my friends so i'm quite excited about it! heh.

Hi,

About hotel payment, which is the most ideal way? Cash or credit card.
My concern is with the exchange rate differences.
Please advise.

Wonstar seems good.

How is the rate? Is it a 3 or 4 stars hotel?

Called Flowers Hotel. They got room. But it is not in XMD but near Taipei main station.

I booked it temporary and hope to find hotels with better location.

Anymore offers?
