Help needed for hotels

Hi guys, i'm planning a year end 6D5N trip to Taipei with my hubby. We'll be staying mainly in Taipei. Shopping and Hot spring Free and Easy trip.

We're planning everything on our own. Need your expert advise:

1. We're thinking of taking Jetstar. Would you recommend we book airlines and hotels separately? Should we book hotels directly from their website or thru online agency such as asiatravel? anyone book thru those online agencies before? Is it more ex?

2. Would you recommend staying near Taipei Main Station or near XimenTing? We're considering hotels between this 2 locations. If Taipei Main Station, we'll go with Cosmo Hotel. If XiMenTing, which hotel would you recommend?

3. Those who have stayed in Cosmo, TS and Rainbow, can i check if the rooms have bathtubs in them? I read these are all 3star budget hotel, but we'll like one with bathtub =P

Appreciate your response! thankie!!

Heading to Taipei this Saturday for 5D4N also.

Having difficulties accessing http://crazy_azn1.tripod.com/taiwan/id24.html

Could you email me an itinerary for about the same period as well?

Greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

TS Hotel

sobsob...nobody replied my earlier question leh.

anyway think we're pretty settled with booking TS Hotel.

Can i just check with you guys who've stayed there before...(getting very confused with the comments here)

1. How far is TS Hotel from the MRT? walking distance...
From the feedback of forumers, seems like 5mins or so. But it seems quite far on the
map.

2. Which room did you book? Whats the difference between superior and deluxe suites
besides the fact that superior has extra table and chairs?

3. Does the deluxe suite come with bathtub or is it a standing shower?

Please please advise!! Thanks!

TS Hotel is less than 5 min walk from XMT station. Don't worry abt distance. From XMT station cross a traffic light on the left and walk towards the Police post. Continue to walk 5-10 metres. Cross a short traffic light and you will see TS HOTEL in another 10 steps

The more expensive room will come with extra table and chairs wif bigger space for ur luggages and walking space. I think it does not come with bath tub if i am not wrong.

Hi, I'd stayed there for 4nites when tour during July. Stay in the deluxe suites (at 2nd floor) and yes there's bathtub. TS is also very near to the MRT, so dun worry. yah?
