hi irvin,

i paid $880 for 2 pax and its considered expensive. U may want to wait for the promos and try and get cheaper tix at abt $400 for 2.
hey cameltoe, which airline did you book? your airtickets already cheaper still say expensive ah. which period you going? which airline and what period can get 400dollars ticket for 2? where got so cheap wan?

We're travelling from 19-24 dec 07. we got our tickets from jetstar at 496 per pax loh. Eva air having promo now and the air tickets about the same price. About 30-50 dollars more. but sold out for the period we want. so no choice lah.

not considering SQ at all. it cost way way more loh. a few hundred more per pax. two pax is quite a substantial amount. rather spend on better hotels.

hey irvin, i suggest you book soon leh. super peak tickets normally by the time promo comes, most tickets are sold out wan. left not so good dates/times or only limited seats thats why got promo on such tickets. actually can see how many seats still available on jetstar wan. just check online as if you're gonna book air tickets. can request seats online. then you can see how many seats left.

we booked a few days ago. Just ONE day after we booked, the fare went up 10dollars. It'll keep going up nearer the date. so better book early. =)

hi paw2gether,

i booked jetstar an am in TP now. For dec period i think its around that pricing. Im staying at cityinn hotel next to Taipei Main station and its quite convenient transportation wise. It cost $1560 per night everyday. There's another 2 hotels next to cityinn. One is royal hotel and its only NT1200 per night weekdays, $1450NT weekends... Both royal hotel and cityinn are about 5mins walk from TMS and it has free wifi in room but no breakfast. Keyman hotel cost $1840NT per night weekdays and NT2040 weekends, breakfasat included. You may want to consider these few hotels.

www.keymans.com.tw 02 2311 4811

You can book royal hotel by calling them at 02 2311 1668

thanks all...we've booked with Wonstar liaos. Our first choice TS Hotel only has room for our 1st 3 nights. But we don wanna change hotel so troublesome.

i checked out a few hotels. Rich Garden looks very nice but very expensive oso. The other hotels look much older. So we decided to go with Wonstar.

Not cheap oso leh. See you guys quoting 1000+ kinda range hotel. Our room is 2280 per night. We chose the 2nd range lah. the lower wan is 1980. The 2280 wan has bathtub! keke

Not all hotels have bathtubs in all their rooms. TS Hotel has very limited rooms with bathtubs. I guess that's why some forumers say have some say don't have.

East dragon and Rainbow have bathtubs in all their rooms i think.

Anyway just hoping Wonstar is a good choice!!

Oh and by speaking with the ladies from different hotels, i find TS Hotel's lady most friendly. East dragon most not helpful. =P

East Dragon has a full compliment of Long Time Staff. Their jobs are secure Most there for 15+ years.

TS is manned by Young people and the Boss' daughter , Conney is there most of the time. Extremely helpful. I put my Folks in the NTD2680 rooms in TS for 7 nights.

i agree, i called them 2 to 3x for some verification, the lady will tell me, " no problem, take your time".... the night shift guy too.... but overall, i call most places, they are helpful including one Hotspring spa place in Beitou.
