they are having a promo now.. you can try to call them and see if they rooms for you..

http://www.tshotel.com.tw/english/02_guestroom.htm

walk in is a bit risky but non the less, you can try but be prepared to be turn down if they do not have the rooms and you have to walk around the area to find rooms....

at least get a room first, and if you don't like it, you have a nite to rest before looking around..

Planning to go taipei on 1 nov. Just want to check with you guys, will i get promotional rates for hotels if i walk-in or does it only apply to online booking? Sorry, if it is a stupid question because i first time go free and easy

If book online got any websites to recommend?

I still had some and a couple of shops in Ximenting still accepted them day before yesterday..
If you have a lot, then just got o the BOT at the end of Zhongqing S Rd, Next to the President's office.

If you are in Ximenting, the Exit 3, walk straight down Baoqing street to the Junction of Zhongqing S Rd. It is on your Left.

Puli & Sun Moon Lake Tour (1 Day) - NT1500 per pax

Hi BQ,
Glad to know that you are visiting again.
A couple of forumers who took that tour said it was okay. Just make sure that they have enough passengers. It takes a minimum of four to make a tour group.

I went to Jioufen today, It was really cloudy and very windy and a bit of rain because of the approaching typhoon. It was still full of people. Young students want me to take their pictures, so when I told them to gather together, they kept a bit quiet then said that they actually wanted to take a Pic with my Mum . People in Jioufen must have never seen a lady in a Sari before,it was really funny.

Will deeply appreciate any info on this as I be going this december!!!
There are a few shops at the Taipei City Mall selling Anime collectibles (Underground mall Behind the Taipei City Hall.

Hello Nutty

Finally hear from you!!
I did some research. Pls advise on this:
1. Take a Zi Qiang train to Taichung. (Since bullet train is exp). From Taichung, take Ren You Bus to Jiu Zhu Village & SML. My qns is, I can just purchase Ren You bus ticket at Taichung Train Station issit? How long does it take to reach SML?
2. Is Jiu Zhu Village worth a visit? I saw that its actually an amusement park etc.
3. I intend to stay and explore Taichung for 2 nights. Is there other way to visit SML from there beside Ren You Bus?
4. Im thinking of exploring SML ourselves rather than to take the BUS TOUR. I found out that there is actually a roundabout shuttle bus around SML. Issit feasible?

Thank you Nutty and other TAIWAN experts...
Please help!!!

Hi nuttyazn,

is this the beef noodle shop u always frequent? Went to try but find the taste a bit bland. But the beef is very well cooked. Melts in the mouth

Hi,Actually it is the one opposite at No. 15.Always full of people.
Saoirse 's post is correct. However the picture shows the Plain Soup. 98% of the people order the Hong Sao Niu Ro Mien @ NTD140 vbmenu_register("postmenu_25950642", true);
