thanks man... is it something like SLS or even better??
Its more or less prettty similar. Just that Guang Hua Shang Chang is more like a small street area or district with many shops selling computer related stuff. Anyway, some of the vendors in fact most have moved to a make shift building further down the road, after the carpark.

ya... it's better to change at taipei, i change at a rate of 21.78 at the airport and 21.94 at taipei bank. if you swipe card, i get a rate of 22.05 for uob card. It's qt worth to swipe card...

what abt those money changers at people's park, chinatown ?
are their rates too low ??
how much can i get if i change at chinatown ?
just bought 7D travel package during CNY week.

I prefer SLS. It's smaller there @ Guanghwa because it's like stretch of shophouses unlike a shopping complex like SLS.

Only good thing is that you can find some products not sold in SG.

I only know the You You Card is NT500. I've not bought it for some time since I last got it. Got to check. My aunt's one is credit card cum train card and when the stored value drops to dual digits, it will auto help you top up.
There is a 1day unlimited metro pass; just get at the station, but not sure if can use on buses
If you have multiple days in taipei and taking buses as well, can get the equivalent of our Easylink card... 500NTD with 100NTD refundable deposit
Just use the Easy Card. The one day pass is not economical. Most Forumers have balance left over the NTD 500+ Deposit at the end of their trip (All balance + Deposit is refundable) In Taipei city, the BUS+MRT combination is inexpensive and it takes you to mostly all the important places)
thx 4 teh advices =D
