wow guess i'll get 1 when i reach there ba....what isit call in chinese ahr? and do they need the hotel add and so on?

i was there on 15 jan 2008 the rate was 21.98 at the airport leh wow two day drop 1.0 !!! Reporting live from kaohsiung.

Can i change SGD to NT at the airport or do they accept USD only ??

Hi,

You can change SGD at the Taoyuan Airport bank and at the Bank of Taiwan on Chongqing South Road (Next to the President's Office)

I last checked on the global currency exchange is 22.6 yesterday but then just now i check damn... i went down to 21.7

Is it better to change at the airport or in sg? I'm confused..

u can try Shilin Night Market. There are a lot of sports shops around. Their prices are cheaper than those found in XMD ...

any pub will do.. it's as easy as abc over there cos taiwan pple more friendly.

Just for everyone info,the charge for sms from Taiwan to sg using M1 roaming service is 30 cents per sms. I just got my bill for the sms I send home during my stay there.
