The Taipei Taoyuan Airport listed this 2 banks having counter at the airport. A check at the bank's currency exchange just now:

Bank of Taiwan: 21.83
https://ebank.bot.com.tw/default.asp?FrnName=BRate

Mega International Commercial Bank: 21.98
http://www.megabank.com.tw/bulletin02_02.asp

Mustafa Singapore: 21.88
http://www.mustafa.com.sg/forex.asp

So the rates are quite close.

I stayed over at Kao Hsiung for a night last year while I was in Taiwan. The shopping there is about the same as the Taipei. Most of the shopping is centred around an area like Orchard Road since Kao Hsiung is not exactly big. I forgot the road name so can't help you there. As for the farms or gardens, I went to Daxi Garden that time, My Secret Garden series was shot there but the place is quite small actually.

I think my most memorable time is in Taipei and Tai Chung!

Beside putting in a ziploc bag which can be requested from the airline check in counter for ur respective flight, there is oso a limit to the size of the container to be brought in...tink is 10ml or 25ml...dun tink is 1 litre..not that much...is beri beri little de...size is based on the container's size NOT the size of the content of the liquid e.g. if ur shampoo container is 50ml but inside the container, ur shampoo's content is juz 10ml i.e. u used b4 and left a bit those kinda, IT IS ALSO NOT ALLOWED! Die Die u muz ahered to the container sizes. Also, 1 pax onli limit to 1 bag. And the ziploc bag muz not be over-capacity i.e. u die die squeeze all the stuff inside the ziploc and force it to close. Everything muz be nicely and comfortably packed into the ziploc. Hoped this helps.

Yes, there is no limit as to how much content of liquid in ur check in luggage as long as the weight of the liquid dun exceed the luggage allowance i.e. 20kg for Jetstar asia. Haha...

But u got to be careful when put inside ur check in luggage...cos sometime due to the pressure when flyin @ high altitude, ur shampoo, shower foam container may burst open...so try not to bring a FULL container. Leave some space in the container. Arbo, try put them in a ziploc oso...if burst @ least wun affect ur other clothings n stuff
