Guys, I am in Taipei now, staying close to the GuangHua PC market. Still had trouble finding it yesterday night because it was raining. Going there today in daytime..

Is it cheaper to buy MP3/4 players here? Those with flash drive 8-16GB space ones? Any brand/model to recommend?

Thanks..

Also any other interesting latest gadget to look for?

Hi all,

I know most would prefer me to read through the whole b4 asking qns, but itz really long and i hope some kind souls here can provide me with some advice...

I am planning a trip to taipei with my wife, and would be going for Jetstar Airways....when choosing the tickets, there are the "JetFlex" and "JetSaver" option with former almost double the price of the latter...is there a major difference?

We will be planning a 5 day 4 night trip there...main theme would be to try all the good food and do some shopping there? Which hotel would be most recommended / value-for-money?

Would really appreciate it if someone could help me with the above...thanks in advance!! =)

Hi all, thinking of going for a week long taiwan tour end of Feb 08. However, is the political situation in the country stable as i understand there is elections ongoing currently. Is it a ideal/good time to tour the country? Will there be street riots and stuff?

Hi ,
No worries on coming here at any time. Actually it is a good timie to come and see the Democratic Process in live action. If you go to a place where they are have a political rally, go there to see it, it's very interesting . Violence is very limited to a few peole banging heads for the TV cameras-It all just a show.
