there is no safety box in the rooms of TS rite???
eh you've got that right.
but the hotel trust their stuff etc.
and i think its really pretty ok. just leave it in the room, nothing should happen i guess.
cos my sister and her friend left their laptops etc in the room as well.
thou my friend put it in her luggage.

and one thing, if you really feel its unsafe, you can leave it at the counter with the staff.

So, you had a couple of wonderful , sunny days. How was it?? Did you go to the Sun Yat Sen Mem Yesterday for the Lantern Festival>> If not, you can still go in the evening when the Sun goes down to view the Lanterns.

I went to shifen last nite for the sky lantern event. And, I took part in the mass release of the lanterns, and the moment all the lanterns risen up to the sky, it was so spectacular. It was a really touching scene.

Below are the videos taken last nite.

Planning for a day trip to Taichung but I am totally clueless on how to walk around there and what to see. I only know take HSR to taichung and then transfer another train to get to city. Only know Feng jiao nite market and didn't even know how to get there. Can someon assist on how to get around in taichung and what to see including Fengjiao nm.

i saw the onitsuka shop leh.. still at XMD. was there a week ago too. i even bought a pair of shoes there.

1hr.. i only went to fengjia night market. shopping is so so.. u can find more stuffs in taipei of course. food is not bad.. but i would think twice about going back again

imo, fengjia is better than any of the night market in taipei and i don't really think you can finish exploring fengjia area within an hr because it takes me two evenings to really see through fengjia and to try their snacks.

went tw with gf and friends for a few times and still like fengjia more.

food a lot, shopping a lot, mei mei a lot...

things at fengjia night market are also cheaper than in taipei.. with combination of yi zhong jie is really no word say.
