First time to Taipei

Hi, I'm going to Taipei for 5D4N (from Thursday to Monday) at the end of March. Have booked my tickets with Jetstar and accommodation with TS Hotel. I need to know some facts, appreciate if someone could assist me. I know some of the questions have been answered in previous posts, but am lazy to read each and every post. Haha. And so my questions are:

1. What time is the last Freego Bus to TS Hotel from the airport? Any time schedule I can find? Does it stop directly outside the hotel?

2. I read about this ShiDa Night Market; how do I go there? Any address or operating hours?

3. Is the Toilet Bowl theme restaurant anywhere near Xi Men Ding?

4. For those who had previously stayed in TS Hotel, I was adviced by my friend that the hotel provides a One Day (Half Day?) Tour service from their concierge desk. Did any of you join the tour? If you did, how long was the tour? What are the places covered?

Thanks in advance!

hey all, i would be heading to taiwan in mid may for about 13 days and i need some advice on the route and the must see of taiwan. The group i am travelling with is pretty adventurous so i hope we can do more interesting things there. Also we would be going budget backpacking so would be opting for hostels and homestay and probably get a youth travel card(for the discounts and etc). To add more variety to our trip, we would also be having tour buddy(from the youth travel tw site) as well.

So this is a rough idea what we would be doing, hope to hear response!

Call them ! Is faster that way!
Was told that they are fully booked the last time,
But I called them ,and the receptionist who attended to me was kind enough to put me on waiting list, and call me 2days before my friend's departure.

If NOT!! On the bottom of the website they got another few branches near XMD..not as convinence and cheap as this one though. but from the web ~looks pretty cosy and nice. Check It Out Yeah! still under S$100
Anyway I am going there next week and will be staying in their New hotel called Hotel73, will keep ya guys updated!

Hey guys, me and my fren(a big group of 10-16) will go to taiwan either on mid of NOV or end of DEC(15/11/2008 ~ 22/11/2008 or 26/12/2008 ~ 03/01/2009). Got few questions here:

1) In term of weather, any significant different between those two date? i know year end is winter season.
2) In term of air ticket price, any different? i know year end if peak period, but if is 50% more exp then not worth lor.
3) Should i go for Jetstar or any other airline? Our budget is ard $550 per pax for air ticket. I guess only Jetstar can get within this budget rite? Since we have a big group(>10), possible to get cheaper price(any web site or trave lagent or airline company)? how much cheaper k get?
4) If we go for Jetstar, normally what is the promotion price? what price i should get instantly without waiting?
5) Other than Jetstar, what airline u guys would recommend? I just found out that Cebu Pacific Air only cost $421 per pax for NOV(but $722 for year end period ) but transit at Manila. Anyone tried this airline b4? is it good? or just like Jetstar?

Also have question abt hotel and the rest...ask again in future

Thanks in advanced!
