Hi All,

Is Tango Nanshi in a good location? Anyone stayed there before? How's the place?

Thanks all in advance for the replies.

the rates are quite competitive really among the three telco.

Prepaid card can be brought after u have pass through the custom in Taipei Airport. There are small booth set-up in the airport near the customer service counter. To be exact is turn right after u exit the sliding door at the arrival hall.

Taoyuan HSR is not near the airport. The cheapest way to leave the airport is by bus and the fastest is by cab. If i am not wrong the Taoyuan HSR station need to drive at least 20mins from the airport.
Thanks for the answer. Satisfied with the answer. This is the exact answer I want

I remember there are no diff and if i remember wrongly the difference is only abt SGD$5 (is the value that is diff)... And in the airport i only see 2 telcos. I forgot which telco i bought liao and it is NTD$600 with value of NTD$500.

The 3 telco website are:
http://english.taiwanmobile.com/serv...=1112593008615

http://www.cht.com.tw/CHTFinalE/Web/

http://www.fetnet.net/servlet/Conten...=1193967105652

Prepare your passport and ask them to activate for u cos they have to activate first before u can start using.

Btw the HSR website is http://www.thsrc.com.tw/en/index.htm
If you want to take the HSR during weekday afternoon, u can buy free sitting ticket cos it is cheaper.

Hi guys,

Am planning to go TW this coming Nov for a 6D/5N. Few things to check:-

1) Is it winter there oreadi? If so, the shops be selling winter clothings?
2) Want to try minshu. Other than the Stone Minsu, any other recommendations? Also what will i do with the hotel in Taipei?
3) will the theme parks be open during Nov (if it is winter season)
4) Any nitelife and KTV in Taipei.

Thanks for your help. :-)

Oh ya, another question: is it possible to travel out of kaohsiung to hualien etc ...it seems like most people travel from taipei to other places and not kaohsiung in this forum...where can i get info on the transportation guide?
