Hello guys, i plan to stay at futurestar hotel? any comments? nice or not? any other hotels to recommend ard same room rate? i got 8 ppl here...looking for more discount if possible.
It all depends what you are looking for?
If you want to be near XMD then TS/Rainbow or WanStar is good.
As if you're in Budget! Actually not much of a diff, but if you're travelling in BIG group. try TS and maybe tell then you have 8pax ,see if they can quote you guys a good price a not? BUT they're always Fully Booked!! So be sure to book in Advance.
Personally I like TS, room is clean and Big(Big LCD TV too), Staffs is friendly and helpful and very Close to EVERYTHING! MRT,XMD or the nice xiao chi ....etc
DIY Laundry shop is just across the road.

I stay futurestar hotel for 5 nights during my 9days trip in taiwan.
Staffs there are friendly and helpful, location is good near to the MRT station and within XMD area. I stay in NT$1080 room (all fully booked during that time), very clean and not too old. given additional discount NT$200/per day (mon-thu).

hotel lobby located in 7th floor, try to request to stay in 7th floor, bcos rooms are newer and have 24hrs lift service. I stay level 9 so have to walk up & down by staircase to the lobby during night time...

requested them to book for us free-go bus to airport with no extra charge.
overall satisfied... recommended

Refer to my blog -
DAY4 (futurestar hotel XMD)
DAY1 (TS hotel XMD)

your airline should issue the card when you are on board. otherwise, can collect when you arrive at the airport.
