can someon teach me how to read their train timings? thanx
The places mention are the origin station and final station for that train. The timing is the arrival time at Taipei station and arrival time at Hualien station.

To go Hualien, you can consider taking the Tze Chiang 1091 (also known as Taroko Express) because it stops at only a few stations between Taipei and Hualien. As you can see, the travel time is shorter than the other trains.

anyone stayed in rose garden minsu (aka roseland b&b) in hualien before? i read tt bath towels and toiletries are not provided. Can anyone help confirm?
do you mean roseland.com.tw ? I'm also going to stay there and from the website, it says "提供盥洗用具(如需大浴巾請自備)" .. which I interpret as being: toiletries are provided but if you need big bath towel, you have to bring your own.

That, I don't know, haha. For me, it doesn't matter where the train comes from...as long as it stops at Taipei station for me to get on and go to Hualien, it works for me.

Hot Spring Voucher

For the hot spring vouchers, what is good for? Also, what are the terms and conditions that are associated with it? Is that just presenting the Air ticket and hotel voucher will enable me to get the vouchers? I have booked both my air ticket and hotel online, would that be sufficient?
