Why do you eat instant noodle in Taiwan? So many nice foods around.
Instant noodle is my late night supper, at the hotel

kenting to hualien, there's 2 route to take, either via the eastern coast or the other is western coast. if u're going from hualien, i'll suggest the eastern coast as is more scenic, do a stop over in tai-tung. then from tai-tung to kenting.

greetings from kaohsiung
anyway, change your money @ taoyuan airport please
i changed my money @ sing @ 20.57 on thurs.
went taoyuan the next day and the exchange rate in the airport was 21.48
the money changer is open from 530am to 1030pm...not 9am-9pm as stated by another forumer.
the 530am to 1030pm money changer is MEGA money changer (IIRC) and situated just before the customs checkpoint (the place where u chop your passport)

can't talk much...gotta rush to eluanbi from kaohsiung now....3 hours bus ride....zzz

Our trip to Taipei was last minute planned, this is becasue office forced us to clear our annual leave.

we are going with our parents and 2 young children (3 and 5 years old).

Departing Singapore on 27.112 and leave Taipei on 01.01.09.

would like to include FLYING COW RANCH and SHANGRILAS LEISURE FARMING in this trip since these are something which we cannot find in singapore.

And of course we would like to include Night markets, Yeliou, jioufen, danshui, wulai..etc.

Is Wulai hot spring stay worth ? Anybody stayed in Long Mun hot spring in wulai before? how is it? Stay there can go to their old town and also the cable car.

any kind soul out there can advise how shall we go about?

Meeky Yang is fully booked on the week im gonna be there. sad.

Anyone got other recommendations of cabby who can bring 3 pax to yehliu, keelung nite market, jinguashi, jiufen, shifen, etc.?

====

If i really cannot hired any cab in advance to those places, anyone can advise if it is possible if i were to travel to yehliu, then to keelung on my own. Then at Keelung just hire a cab off the street to bring me around to keelung nite market, jinguashi, jiufen, shifen. Probably drop us off at Keelung train station at the end and we'll travel back by train or bus on our own? Any one knows around how much will the cab cost if this is the case?
