Mmmm ok.. =x

So if i'm travelling Keelung area on my own, is it right to go in the following sequence?

1. Tk bus from Taipei to Yehliu
2. JinGuaShih
3. Jiufen
4. Keelung MiaoKou NM
5. ShiFen
6. Travel back to Taipei via RueiFang Railway.

For bus ticket to Yehliu and train tickets back to Taipei from RueiFang Railway Station, can i just buy them on the spot?

Shifen Waterfalls is now closed due to land dispute between the owner and government. Those who are going there do note.

hi,
had anyone try changing money from bank?
saw in UOB web that the money changing rate is 21.27
may i know is there any additional charges?

also, how's the rate at taoyuan airport?

Thanks!
My friends observed the exchange rate at airport is the best. Around 21. There are hardly money exchangers accepting SGD at good rates, or not at all except for the Taiwan Bank near Presidential Office, from what we gathered from locals.

Need some help.

Beside engaging Mr Lu Lai Fu to cover Taroko Gorge, is it possible to hike this route "Hiking on Tunnel of Nine Turns Trail" as suggested in http://www.taroko.gov.tw/tarokoporta...treks_01.aspx?

Btw, how do i travel from Hualien Station to 七星潭 or from Taroko Gorge to 七星潭? tks

Because there are only 2 of us so I think engaging Mr Lu Lai Fu might be expensive since this is a Free and Easy cum Budget tour. Is it possible to take a cab there then walk the trail ourselves? Then take a cab from Toroko to 七星潭 thereafter? will it be cheaper or about the same? If not, I guess it will be easier to engage Mr Lu Lai Fu to save our the troubles.
