Hi Guys, i know this has been repeated before but mind if i ask again is it better to change TWD currency in Taipei Airport or in Singapore? (eg. people's park, mustafa...)I remember reading somewhere in the forums the rate is higher in Taiwan airport itself.

Thanks in advance! =)
I juz changed with a rate of 22.15.. dunno that's considered high or not.. how high is it in taiwan?

I changed last tues in chinatown. I asked practically every money changer, all above 21 leh.. most common was 22.10.. some increased to 22.12 when i say wan to change 2k. 22.15 was the best..

if in taiwan 22.50.. i will commit suicide bah..

guys, dun panic first. let me try to dig out the thread or posting which says changing in taipei is more worth it. I may or may not remember correctly.

In any sense i just asked someone who worked in the travel industry in taiwan abt the rate there and was told 1:22 so not too bad for some of the pple who changed in Singapore. so far is same same.

jiufen is big...u see it small because u only enjoy that jiufen old street 九份老街..
if u got time, can try book the hostel there ,nice mountain view.
many people only walk the old street, but that is new design for tourist...not so beautiful
Hi,

i am staying at jiufen for 1 night.
Can enlighten where else to go besides the old street?
Thanks

anyone who took HSR on your own b4, can help me ans the following questions?

1. I see Group and adult tickets being sold on the website. What's the difference between the 2?

2. Do I have to book the ticket online before my trip? Or usually ish can reach the station then buy one?

edit: got my answers to question 1 already, group tickets require a min. of 11 ppl travelling together...
