Is it very heavy rain?

Am leaving for Taipei this Friday too! Thanks to all the postings here, have managed to consolidate all the information, including a day's trip with Meeky Yang!
Will be there from March 13 to 18, on SQ flight, stay at City Inn.
Looks like I will get to bump into many Singaporeans there too!

Thank a lot!

For domestic calls, you can buy a local phone card from any 7/11 or buy a prepaid sim card at the airport or any of the service providers branches all over the city - I am sure it is cheaper than most Auto Roam service.

Mr. Joe Huang
Cell phone: 0952-322-303

You have 10 pax in your group??
Toroko is different from Northeast Tour and includes the long train ride both ways. Just train fare for 10 persons is NTD8K+

you mean when we booked the meekyang tour, we can release the sky lantern at anytime of the year????
Dont know about that but if you take the train to Shifen or Pingshi, They let people send up a lantern any time of the year.

Shifen waterfall still closed.

Hi for Mr Meeky we can book our own itineraries and let him know right? do we have to inform him of our itinerary before the trip? and can we email him in english? Thanks!
Correct, He will let you know if your programme is workable and then can plan a suitable route.

anyone try buying electronic goods from tw??
I live here so I buy most of my electronic stuff from Guanghua. So Far, No worries in 24 years.
Gaurantee is available for most items but If things do not get spoilt, then no need of using the Guarantee.

Hi,
Yes it is still available at Counter 34 Taipei Main Station or Counter 4 Songshan Station.
Thanks for replying. I'm thinking on the below route but not sure if it is feasible for Rueifang, Pingsi and Su-ao to be considered as part of the round the island.

Taipei -> Yilan -> Su-ao (possible?) -> Hualien -> Kaohsiung -> Chiayi -> Taichung -> Taipei
