Hi all, wanna check, the scooter at kenting, do i need to show them my car license b4 i can ride it?

and wat are the rates like?

or best case, no need to show any form of license? cos the motor bicycle doesn;t seem fun at all compared to scooter.

thnx in advance.

NT600 for 24hrs of rental with enough petrol to reached the nearest petrol station for refill. Most likely you will need an international riding license...

Tourism Bureau and TRA issue passports to stimulate local tours
TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The Tourism Bureau and Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) yesterday jointly launched a “Tour Taiwan Passport” that allows holders to travel around the island by train and tour bus at low cost and enjoy various privileged treatment during their trips, according to tourism officials. The officials said that online reservation of the passports will be kicked off at 12:00 noon at a unit price of NT$1,499. But the first 1,000 passports will be sold at a discounted price of only NT$999. The passports will remain valid through December 31, 2009.

Following the special offer, the bureau will offer another 10,000 passports for NT$1,297 each.
Travelers can also purchase the passports through the overseas ticketing agencies of China Airlines and Eva Air.

i did the same: rented scooter in hengchun for NT500. they did retain my driving license(i've only class 3 btw ) but they will not questioned as it is all in ang moh. i think you can easily get passed and if needed be, be confident enough to snooked them. provided the owner is agreeable, you can even charm siong to return the bike a a couple of hours later the next day,no extra charge. but don't take advantage and fail to deliver and spoil the goodwill lah.no standard practices, much depend on individual shops.
