the easycard is like sg easylink.....they will deduct the value when u use it...
so,let say u get the $500 card, den u use....den end of the day,u get watever bal bal when u depart from TW..but wat if u take wrong bus/mrt...the value will continue to deduct..cos u board the but/mrt liao
1day ticket is dif...the $150 is for the whole day...unlimited trip(mrt only),so even u alight at the wrong station, last min, change plan...1 2 go another place....the rtip is still free cos is still within tat $150(for tat day)
n u r talking abt taipei, most of the places where tourists go..can b access by mrt..except some place wic need to take bus to reach(even having to say tat,u can still alight at the nearest mrt station)
eg..wulai,u can take mrt to xindian, den take bus...rather than u take bus from taipei main station all the way to xindian

n oso...some ppl do include keelung, jiufen etc in their plan....
so meaning, they will b out of tpe city,so if u buy the easycard, den will b a waste.. cos nvr use(meaning u wasting ur $$ on tat ticket)
if u use 1day ticket, den on that day,u can save the ticket cost....use tat $150 for other things like eating or shopping etc....
rather than ur money is being locked up in the easycard......

台中逢甲夜市 Feng Jia Night Market, last Saturday night.

Almost all food stalls has long Q so it took quite some time before getting the food. I heard of the weekend crowd but could not change the date due to fixed appointments. It's an eye opener. Better visit on a weekday.

This Puli 埔里 taxi driver is very friendly. Although I only took his taxi (not day tour), he talked about Puli interesting things and place when we passed by. And he didn't mind fetch us from Puli Winery to Puli bus station even though it's a short distance.

The exchange rate at airport may not be always higher. Last Wednesday their rate was 22.28 while I changed at 22.32 in SG.

Be cautious when you go to Taipei Main Station 国光客运台北西站A栋. There is another bus company Dayou 大有 counter next to GuoGuang 国光客运 counter. The ticketing staff assured us that Dayou bus also takes 1 hours to airport but only cost NT90. At the end the Dayou bus tour around the city area for 30 minutes before getting to highway to airport. Total journey about 90 minutes. While we were still early, the other group of people has very little time to check in and board their plane.
