going to Taiwan from 25 to 30 during CNY . (private tour , not shopping trip ) have some question to ask
  • 1. how much $$ to change per person (only have 3 breakfast included )
  • 2. any activities in TW during CNY that SG dont have ....can play 炮竹 or not ?
  • 3. what to wear , temperature is from 21 to 12 , i saw the president election news, some only wear t-shirt, some wear very thick with jacket . raining too , will u bring each person 1 umbrella ?
  • 4. will u buy attraction ticket online first? or only buy when u reach the place. which website to buy ?
  • 5. is it normal practice to pay full amount to the driver when u reach tw ?
  • 6. how much tips will u give ?

1 NTD 1,000/per person is enough.
2 firecrackers can buy at stores and is ok to play it safe. Shifen Old Street lantern festival is a good place to visit.
3 Cold front is coming during CNY and a coat and rain gear are needed.
4 Buy ticket on-site is OK.
5 NTD 20.00 extra charge per ride is needed when you take a taxi at CNY.
6 Keep the change is OK.
