Guys using Mi Box S, and had some of the apps like B**TV and Ty****.

But for some reasons the videos loaded is buffering? The MiBox S runs on wifi, and checked the speed using some app from Playstore and it getting about 50mbps download and upload speeds. Is this comparative slow network?

But the tv when its own internal Youtube seems to be fine and loading with no buffering :/

Are there any other settings I can twerk?

the problem is between the server and your box.

you can get better speed by choosing the right link.

sometimes, by setting your box's dns to google dns helps.

Buy a good box, Google... at least 4G RAM/64G, 4K

Then go TV Box check for the apps to watch
Or U tube have some videos

Non tech people buy those box with pre installed apps which they download also.

Which android boxes are good for movies and also USA/Korean/Taiwan shows?

Any good ones to recommend?

for watching video, 2GB/8GB should be enough.

the best example is from nvidia - shield tv 2019 - come with only 2GB/8GB.

I think it more on the app to see movies.
Not so much on Android box
Most of the box out there should work well with a movies app

I think mi box is safe bet, X96 etc. Just get a below $100 box and play with it. Those $200+++ are for gaming etc.

I donít own box, canít afford. I still recommend 4G/64G as 2G is slow.

You can go Shopee.com check out price.
You check with the supplier whether the box include apps??
Easy to use the interface or not is subject to individual.

I think I might consider Mi Box S. Decent and affordable with pretty positive reviews.

Anyway why are some Android TV boxes like Nvidia Shield/Pro so expensive? The price is on the high side but reviews are really good too. Very tempting..
