Plenty of it.
ACER SF315-52G ($1598 - but I believe price will go down to below 1.5k)
ASUS S406UA-BM145T ($1598 - but I believe price will go down to below 1.5k)
ASUS X560UD-BQ148T ($1498)
ASUS X510UF-EJ370T ($1198)
Dell Inspiron 13 5000 (5370) ($1399)
HP Pavilion 14-bf100TX/bf126TX ($1299)
HP Pavilion x360 14-ba110TX ($1549)
Levono Ideapad 720s ($1499, $1699 - believed price might down to your range)
Levono Ideapad 530s ($1449)
Levono Ideapad 320s ($1299)

All i got it from the brochures. Just need to dig.

Not on the low side. May be SATA SSD la. SATA SSD is good enough as it is 500MB/s read.

Of course good. Can buy Extended Warranty too. Service centre open till 7pm on Weekdays and Sat morning still open half day. Now most companies no service on weekend.
That's the olden day where you are using a very old HDD with very slow processor and old OS. May be you are using bitlocker to encrypt the notebook then it will be slow. Nowadays, OS is good and running on SSD and the processor and RAM is new and much faster. Technology has changed and improved a lot. 10-15 Seconds to boot up without bitlocker.

Trade in is to get the voucher then you use the voucher to buy thing at the fair. You still get the offer from the booth at the fair. It is always good to bargain for the new notebook first then ask them to reserve the notebook for you while you go for trade in voucher. Just tell them.

the best buy of the show has got to be the 1.3kg asus x411ua at the best denki section going for only S$730 and dropping. but not many units left. Only gripe is the average screen

i am not affiliated with them and i have no vested interest in them

Intel® Core™ i5 8250U Processor,
4 GB Ram
256 GB SSD
14"
