Need some help here, just change to router AC1200G+, speed just got worst, now nearly hit 100mbps

Recontract to 1GBPS today.

Any idea?
Check your firmware. I am aware after I updated to the latest firmware, the 5GHz connection speed was stuck at 100MBPS or less.
I reverted to a few firmware earlier and stuck with Firmware Version:3.0.0.4.380_4089.
As far as I know, this is the only stable one that worked for me.

Looks like it's ONT with 2 ports activated. Port 5 is the 10Gbps port, port 1 is 1Gbps, 2 public IPs provided.
https://www.m1.com.sg/personal/home-...bit#howitworks
The last time I checked M1 provides a ONT that has 2 ports enabled. 1 1gbps and another 10gbps. Both have seperate wan IP address so is as though you got 2 internet connections.
Thanks for the info, i got the 2gb subscription last Thursday. Went queue during lunch time and done in 2hrs+.

Would anyone be able to know that since there are 2 ports, can i connect to 2 different wifi routers? Planning to have one wifi signal for standard usage while the other for the gaming laptop & pc.

Thanks!

Yes you can connect 2 routers. However by doing so both the routers will not be in the same network as the other. This may not be an issue if you don't have any network services

So only the 10Gbps port 5 is activated but speed limited to 2Gbps?

I see I see, sounds good. I want to separate the network into normal (streaming, browsing, work, etc) and gaming usage to avoid any sudden spike on latency. Thanks alot!

lol, i am not too sure too. Just using the diagram found by AhPinKor for the scenario. Check it out below:
