Get ugreen dp cable from shopee or lazada. Cheap and good. Cost around $7 for 1.5m or $8 for 2m on shopee. Slightly more expensive on lazada.
Yes you are right, it's better to get a DP cable.

Saw Prism+ update their listing on Lazada, the W270 hdmi port is version 1.4, which means it can only support a maximum 1920 * 1080.

Dont know i damn suay or acer monitor quality cmi but my 2 day old monitor already 1 dead pixel appear. Heng its right at the edge so not much of an eye sore. Doubt acer will allow exchange for this. In my almost 30 years of using computers with monitors, this is really the first time i encounter any pixel issues across the various brands i have used before.

u should look at W270-2 (version 2)

I am using one, with HDMI and running QHD.

Lul i rather be arrogant than a blardy ignoramus. Its not rocket science. Ownself dont know can go google. DP 1.2 cable for dp 1.2 port. What so difficult to comprehend? No wonder no one bother to answer your questions other than that other guy looking to get rid of his excess cables. You dont even bother to help yourself and expect everything to be spoon fed to you.
