I just applied last month
Using it for past 3 days.

No lag, download Super smooth as compared to my cable

how's the fibre speed? 80% or 75% of actual bandwidth speed?

Is M1 Fibre still the cheapest around or are there cheaper options?

I'm also considering terminating at end of contract and switchover to TPG generous mobile data.

Never ever replace fibre broadband with mobile data.

WhizComms should be the cheapest for 1Gbps plan at $34/mth for 2yrs contract. But it doesn't include digital home line, need a one time activation fee of $53.50.

As for TPG, unless you have a single device otherwise got a get a 4G router to share the bandwidth with other devices.

Thanks for the info, wish they'd come out with something like $10 for 100mbps kind of low cost, low usage plans.

I'm still thinking about tethering to router usb, can save a year of fibre subscription with TPG trial, 2GB/day is enough for 1-2 home desktops.
