I just upgraded my router connecting to the TPLink Powerline AV1200s.
On 5GHz, I am getting Speedtest 233Mbps down and 184Mbps up.

I had a hard time resetting and pairing my TP-Link power adapters today using the physical buttons after my adapter and Wi-Fi extenders were mysteriously unpaired, and I could not connect to the Internet. After checking the Internet for the solution and some trial and error, I successfully reconnect to the Internet via the Wi-Fi extender.

For those who encounter a similar issue and the reset buttons fail to work, here is my solution using software reset and pairing:

Preparation
1. Connect the computer directly to the router.
2. Download and install the utility here: https://www.tp-link.com/sg/support/download/ (e.g. Powerline Adapters).
3. Take photographs of the back of the adapter and extenders that show the PowerLine Key, put back the adapters to the power sockets near one another and switch on the power.

Utility Reset and Pairing
4. Launch the utility on the computer and scan for the main PowerLine adapter (TL-PAxxxx) and Wi-Fi extenders (TL-WPAxxxx).
5. Click on the main PowerLine adapter that shows up in the utility and click on the web browser icon. Enter the username and password as "admin" and reset the adapter.
6. Use the "+" icon to add the Wi-Fi extender, then enter the PowerLine Key in step 3, then reset it using the step 5 method. You can also use this method to add the power adapter manually if the scan fails.
7. Once all the adapter and Wi-Fi extenders are reset, the utility will show them paired up in a simple diagram with the Wi-Fi speed.

From the utility, I can see that although I'm using AV600 series, the speed is only close to 300 mbps via Wi-Fi (as advertised). However, this is more than sufficient for MS Teams and Zoom meetings.

New house new wiring.

The pairing is rubbish as well. Instructions tell u to press 'pair' button for 1 sec and the power button will blink. It doesn't. Have to press several times before it happens. So if you think u are going to set it up in one or two minutes, u will be shocked at how terrible this junk is.
Just purchased a TP Link powerline adapter set for $99 last night. The theoretical speed on the box stated 500mbps, but it is obviously not going to happen. But to not even get 10% of 500mbps is ridiculous!

http://www.tp-link.sg/products/details/cat-18_TL-WPA4530-KIT.html

Despite plugging into the wall sockets directly and hooking up with Cat 6 cables, the speed was only a pathetic 29mbps. 29 is not even 10% of the stated 500mbps. Even wifi is faster!:s8:

Will take more screenshots of this garbage product soon.

What I had experienced on the difficulty of resetting and pairing today could be what appleo experienced. The buttons reset and pairing doesn't always work. The software reset and pairing I described above works much better for my case.

wifi radiation is just a myth.

a) it can't hurt you at consumer strengths. i mean unless you live in a 5g tower itself (and even then probably doesn't matter). radiation weakens with distance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverse-square_law

b) its ubiquitous. unless you stay in landed property with more than 300metres away from any other router.

c) you just turn on your phone see how many broadcasting ssid you can see.

d) you can't block singtel lte/4g/5g . home wireless 2.4ghz /5ghz

4G LTE 600 MHz, 700 MHz, 1.7/2.1 GHz, 2.3 GHz, and 2.5 GHz.
5G sub-6 GHz 5G spans 450 MHz to 6 GHz, and millimeter-wave 5G frequencies span 24.250 GHz to 52.600 GHz, 5925 to 7150 MHz range and 64 GHz to 86 GHz range. and more

so what exactly are you trying to reduce? as long as your phone has a signal (and thats only to your telco), you are flooded with "wifi radiation" . cutting out 1 wifi router is equivalent to emptying the ocean with a thimble

furthermore, using wifi over powerline causes pollution interference as well. just a different frequencyt band than 2.4/5ghz https://www.theregister.com/2012/08/20/plt_rsgb/ but it can be picked up by your tv/speakers.
