I have had very good experience with GMC Style at Amarin Plaza. Tailored three times already, including 2 suits, many shirts and many pants. The quality is good and I only wear their shirts and pants for work now.

Going over tomorrow. Any good tailors to recommend? I don't mind paying for more for bespoke, good workmanship, fabric and detail unique design. Previously I mad a few good pieces with Tanika but was 1-2 years back.

Try Tailor On Ten. I've only had a few shirts made but they've got great selection and the guys are very knowledgeable!

i will be heading to bkk this week and intend to make a suit.

May I know which is the better among these 2?
Crown or TOT?

Or any others which is worth checking out?

slang 25-03-2014 02:16 AM

is there alot of diff between crown and ToT for tailoring suit?

crown starts at 5500baht whilt ToT has the minimum price of 12000baht

They are on the same street, so maybe check out both. As I said, I only had shirts made, but the place is great and all the customers that were in there seemed very happy. This gives some indication of price difference reasons:

Yep! Leap of faith :P Shirts start at 1700 each, but its 100% cotton and the fitting process is good.

got mine there but i must say for the lower priced ones, selection is poor
the middle price range ones have significantly wider selection

when i was there for 2 3 days
didnt see a single local , all expats and tourists

seeing their customer mix, you know why the price is as it is

Went to Paul's Fashion. Great selection. 6000 baht for 6 shirts with contrast included (after bargaining). Material is Italian cotton. Tomorrow afternoon arranged for fitting.
Good service.

How did it turn out? Do you mean Italian-milled cotton? Tbh, it's extremely unlikely to be all cotton at that price, and much less to have a European manufacturer. Could still turn out nice, of course. Please let us know.

I'd argue there's other things affecting the price...

Also, when I was there, they had a whole wall full of the cheaper shirt fabrics.
