Just came back from BKK and had a pleasant experience with Crown. Am impressed that they managed to meet my tight schedule for shirt making:
Fri 11am - Select fabric and measurements taking (about an hour) Sat 11am - First fitting with only one shirt made (about 30mins). Shirt was a little loose on the shoulders and waist so adjustments were needed. Sat 7pm - Second fitting and collection. All the shirts were more or less made similar. |
bro tehboo, how many shirts u made? pricing?

Just came back from Bangkok last Sunday. Tailored 6 x shirts from Boss Ave.
Very happy with them, in total 4 short sleeves (The hot weather these days!) and 2 long sleeves. Customised the details (buttons colours, details, threading colours etc) until song song, anyway for those whom are going to tailor, just draft beforehand what you want for shirt 1, 2 etc. easier that way. :s13: Will GPGT once I snap a photo. 15 May evening, selection + measurement 16 May evening, fitting 18 May morning, collection |

Anyone ever ordered from Crown via online before?
I'm thinking of ordering online as my bro is going to bkk and he can collect on my behalf. I'm not worried abt measurements as my current measurements are the same as the last time I ordered. Question is on fabrics as they have a few categories: Rookie Executive CEO Chairman I'm told that rookie cloths are fairly coarse and moving up the scale it gets softer at CEO as it's 100% cotton. I'm looking for fabrics that feel soft to touch. Anyone ordered online before, can tell me the difference between each category so that I can make an informed decision? :/ |
just went to crown tailor over the weekend.
service was good, workmanship solid also. tailored 3 shirts, now feel like too little, should have made more. friday noon went for measurements and selection. sat noon first fitting. fit nicely without having to make any changes. sat evening collection. total cost was 4000baht for 3 shirts with contrast. got the 1200range for each shirt. any bros who got the pure cotton can comment on the quality and how easy or difficult was it to iron? wanted to get pure cotton but was worried that very difficult to iron as i'm lazy when it comes to ironing shirts. |
