pants is around the same price for both..

shirt i think j&s is significant cheaper.. 100% cotton @ 1500 with contrast.. crown is 1700+150 for 100% cotton with contrast..

i will be making 5 shirts and 2 pants.. difference will be around 2k.. so definitely j&s is the way to go for shirt and pants

but crown suit is cheaper than j&s by 1-2k.. comparing
11000 (80% wool blend) crown vs 13000 (70-80% wool blend) j&s
8500 (50% wool blend) crown vs 9500 (30-60% wool blend) j&s

i guess going to both will be a better choice?

All tailors essentially
Tailoring a blazer jacket is the same as tailoring a suit minus the pants

do you guys recommend j&s @ 9500B vs crown @ 8500B vs boss @ 5500B? these pricing should be for 50%~ wool blend suit..

i tailor the suit just for ROM.. i doubt i will be very it very often.. the price difference between j&s and boss is too big.. 4000B difference justifiable?

i don't mind tailor normal shirt and pants @ j&s at a higher price as i will be wearing to office..

If you don't wear it often, borrow from friend or rent from the wedding studio.

jieqian 03-10-2016 12:51 AM

Just went to paul fashion at amari.

8500 baht for suit, 2 shirts and pants each.

Good experience

I just did my shirts and pants from my regular tailor Rajawongse on Friday. Price around 70per pic for shirts. Pants around 140.
Not bad especially if you are there for a weekend stay and they can get it done for you in 2 to 3 days time and deliver to your hotel. Quality needless to say great. Many Politicians and celebraties goes there to tailor their clothes.

i've been to rajawongse too, victor is a really nice person. did the price increase recently? I have shirts from them at 1400baht each, though the customization options are much limited as they are very busy and cater more to a standard look. I have 5 cotton chinos from them too, made at 2500baht each. they have the best selection of cotton pant fabrics of all the tailors i've been to in bkk, and very worth it too. also, their wool pants are all 100% wool? I didn't make any wool pants from them as I only hand wash my clothes and dun go to the dry cleaners..

Each piece is about 1600baht each.
There is a whole stretch of tailoring shops there and done with some of them still feel Victor is better in terms of cutting and finishing.
Of course not so relatively cheap.
He also has a hotel and restaurant further down the road at SOI 11.
