i suppose no advertising yes.
but reverse enquiry is probably allowed to certain extent... haha

like i needed to confirm the links i posted for crown is the CROWN tailor in bkk we are all talking about and not someone else.... considering it can be quite a common name.

jigibut, thanks for confirming i got the right link though hahaha

Didjerama 24-04-2016 01:23 PM

just like to state that my crown tailors shirts are working just fine. no loose threading or torn seams. this been like 4 years already and they go through weekly wear.

Just email then. Crown tailor there's only 1 prominent one. Boss Avenue wise, there's another shop called Boss Tailor just opposite. So careful a bit ya.

I can't comment much as I don't make my clothes from either Pinky or Crown. I do hear good feedbacks from Crown if you ask me.

Anyway do check about 10 to 20 pages back, I think I've posted the price of Crown's here :)

Now waiting for you to go and post review. Im going to ask Manop if there's any troublesome Singaporeans giving him problems. :s13:

If you ask me, BKK is not really that cheap in my opinion. In terms of food, drinks and lodgings, and of course and favourite coffees, I'm paying the same thing in both Taiwan and Japan. Now saving money for my year end backpack winter Korea trip.

省着点吧小弟。 :)

Wah bro you not making suit right? At least need one fitting. Otherwise no point make sia..

bloodbecks 27-04-2016 09:03 AM

I went to Alex tailor @ Amari WG. What I feel is that for the 1000 baht cloth, the designs are limited. I was not happy with the workmanship too. I did on Thursday and collect on Saturday and had ask them to do some alteration but seems like nothing was being done at all. I had to catch my plane so I didn't bother to argue much. I wont be going back there to do again.

Hey everyone, i know there is alot of feedback from page 1 to 170. i read 80% of the post already. but due to my timing of going to bkk and budget. Can you all advise me on the following ?

1 - GMC

i have my friend receipt which the staff say i will be charge according to my friend previous price which he made in Dec'15.

4000 Baht for 3 pcs & 1 pants. (Shirt maybe is cheapest quality one)

2 - Jessie & Son

Coming on sat but fitting only on Monday, will charge me to send the clothing back to Singapore

Hear price start from 1300 , 1500 , 1800. Saw one lavender on their fb for 1800. 1800 x 3 = 5400

i want to make 3 shirts plus some special requirement due to bigger size.

Any help ?

Like that then ok. You need at least a fitting to iron out the differences.

They don't charge extra if you're bigger size. Their cuttings are usually slightly bigger to allow further adjustments. Just be really honest with Manop about your requirements and he'll see to it. :)

I guessed that's usually the case. During my visit at Boss Avenue, the 1k baht range you'll probably find around 40ish clothes on the rack.

agent_719 27-04-2016 07:53 PM

Hi Cesario bro. I will be going to bkk this coming july for holiday. Would like to make 2x shirt + 1x pants (maybe 1 more pants if budget allows) from boss avenue.

Budget: SGD150
Usage : for attending formal events and project presentation for uni.

What kind of material will you recommend?
Any other instructions / info that i need to let the shop attendant know ?

Thanks in advance
