Hi there, I have made my shirts and suits with them since 2010. They are quite decent in terms of quality. But don't expect the cheaper shirts to last. Workmanship wise they are quite decent, as for speed it's definitely okay. Do go for at least fitting if you are there for the first time (Fortunately no adjustment to my size since 2010)

Anybody had to have their products shipped because of lack of time in Bangkok for Crown? Any idea how much the shipping charge would be?

Hi all, I'm going to Bangkok this early Aug for 4D3N. Staying near MBK.

May I know if Crown is it very far from where I stay? Or any good tailor shops ard where I am staying?

Lastly, if go Bangkok make short sleeve shirts and pants only, is it very stupid ah? :o

Thks in advance.

MBK is quite near Siam, you want just take a cab, I think if smooth traffic, to Crown is about 50-70baht only since the flagdown fare is 24baht.

As long as you think it's not stupid can alr, doesn't matters what others think.

Haha I remembered it was 20+ baht. Paiseh. All I know is the meter barely jumps one. Sidetrack abit, a US tourist got killed by a cab driver in BKK cause the passenger nv pay US$1.60 of fare. Chao angmoh really think angmoh dua ki. No matter how successful or wealthy you are, shouldn't look down on others or think commoners are scum.

Just got back yesterday, the traffic kinda sucks. So I avoided taking the cab altogether and took BTS instead. Just stop at Nana station and exit from exit 4. Find Soi 8 and walk in, the sign is quite visible.

Anyway thumbs up for the service provided. Most of them speak good English and that is really essential for us to communicate exactly what we wanted. They were very patient and helpful. Really a lot of Singaporeans visited that place. And I only went in on Saturday morning, they managed to get it ready for me by Monday afternoon. But I think it's also rather low season. Didn't experience much of a crowd the 3 times I went to the store.

Might be making a suit when I return to BKK this august. Probably going to give Boss a shot since I was quite impressed with the shirts. Their fine wool fabrics are not branded mills but suits range from 5.5k to 8k baht for pure wool (super 130s) according to Dave.

No way is the fabric super 130s, if its unbranded there is no such thing! Polyester wool blend no doubt! Probably feels ok though!
