where did you have chicken or pork sausage ?

culture in sg and usa/canada are very different.. have to catered to muslim colleagues here. if got indians colleagues too that means no pork and no beef.

I remember years ago i worked at a company that have a few vegan colleagues including the CEO, you can guess what food was catered for the company gathering.. i took a look at all the dishes and told my boss I'm not feeling well, need to go off early and I went to the nearest burger place to have beef burger and bacon.
This suck, company gathering should cater food for everyone needs no to the preference of CEO.

We eat bacon all the time in Calgary.

We just had some for breakfast yesterday. put bacon on paper towels and pop into microwave. Yum yum.
how do you like your bacon done ?

super crispy like biscuit or bacon with fats that can be chewed

cod is expensive in singapore too..

your sirloin steak is so cheap siah.

Look at sg price..

Carnivore only branch is at riverside quay.. Vivo city branch closed long ago.

$49 dollars is reasonable good.

In Canada also need to pay BS GST and 10% service charge ?

Hmm that one is Porterhouse leh. Fancy.

Oh the Vivo Carnivore already closed down?

Canada got GST. This is Federal GST. 5%. Provinces also have PST. But Alberta don't have PST. So we only pay 5% GST to Federal.

No service charge usually. But should tip. Standard is tip 15%. In some places if the party size is more than 6 they will tell you they have applied the service charge already so no need to tip.

I mean if the service is really good I don't mind tipping.. If service sucks food sucks, still need to tip 15% ?

Sorry SG doesn't have tipping culture cos we already have service charge "force" down our throat regardless their service is good or bad.

Is up to you want to tip or don't tip. I have not tipped before when service is bad. But very rare.

Yeah I know SG is service charge. But also by that token singaporeans DEMAND to be served well and kpkb easily.

But maybe if they didnt have service charge then Singaporeans also won't tip anyway.

Moving is not about being capable or not. Well maybe for some of the rich atas ones yes.
But for regular immigrants to Canada it is not.
for me the new place number 1 factor have to be food and security.

Focus on what you do have in SG!

Food!!!! Glorious food! All the local offerings. Plus international.

And SAFETY!!! So safe!!!!

Be happy lah bro.

Immigrants move to places like Canada because they could get shot in their country. Raped. Bombed and killed

You are living in your paradise. You just don't realize it.
